Your personal background.
Name's John, but if you're my friend, and you are if you aren't my enemy, it's Data. Star Trek, you know. Am BOINCing for Sicituradastra., a fun bunch of people looking to crunch for science. Born 17 March 1973 Charlotte, NC, USA, age 40 years. Reside there again after living in Triangle, NC (4 months); Matthews, NC (2.5 years); and Butner, NC (2 years).

I'm 1/4 Hungarian, 1/16 or so Cherokee Indian, probably some German, and definitely English/Irish/Scottish. I can be a constipated limey, a neat-freak/detail-obsessed Kraut, a war-loving bohunk (UFC rocks!) or a loud mick with the best of them (note my b'day). I also hold my liquor well :)

Lest you think I have any political correctness in me at all, my favorite sports teams are the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Braves (and UNC Tarheels). I also like the Kansas City Chiefs to a degree, and the Chicago Blackhawks are ok with me due to their storied history.

I travel, play hearts and spades as well as No-Limit Hold 'em, read, watch the news on TV and read it online, love sports, and collect stamps and coins.

I sell women's and children's finer fashions on eBay under the username thetrendywoman. Mention you saw me here and get 1/2 off shipping to the USA, 1/4 elsewhere :)
Your opinions about ibercivis
Right now, I am testing out good projects for their credit-grant stats. I've been studying WU@Home, and it indicated Ibercivis, in particular Drug Sims at the Nanoscale, granted good credit. Drugs and medicines are a fine thing to crunch for, so I'm sticking with this one pending some results.

I'm also hoping for an asteroid project to come up, more like Orbit than Asteroids, as a big rock would render us more than mostly dead (those of you who know "The Princess Bride", you get it). Such an object would be Cosmic Raid, and we'd be the roaches...

Since you're based in Spain, I don't expect you all to speak English back at me, but I speak almost no Spanish myself, so I am sure vosotros :) will forgive me...

Finally, my object of hero-worship is this great singer Hayley Westenra... best voice on Earth, and darn cute, too. She makes American Idol sound like American Idolatry :p Her specialty is classical crossover, which is like easy listening with better background accompaniment, more reliance on classical theory, and just better vocals. Check her out, won't ya? hayleywestenra.com... it won't let me load a pic...
