with numbers like the following I can see why

Workunits waiting for validation 453
Workunits waiting for assimilation 232,688
Workunits waiting for file deletion 0
Tasks waiting for file deletion 38,480
Transitioner backlog (hours) 0

me thinks there is a little back log going on...

I would not worry about it
I recall reading that if after 2 weeks of trying to upload tasks and still can't the boinc client will think that project is dead and abort the task.
freeing up disk space....

Ich musste Ibercivis anhalten.
Die fertigen WUs verstopfen den Boinc - Manager und er zieht sich keine neuen WUs mehr.
Dadurch lief der Rechner ohne auch nur eine WU zu berechnen.
Bin echt begeistert...........

Google √úbersetzer:
I had to stop Ibercivis.
The finished WUs clog the Boinc - manager and he pulls no new WUs more.
Thus, the computer ran without missing a WU to calculate.
I'm really excited ...........

if you look in the client_state.xml you will see the upload server

http://subida.ibercivis.es/subida_cgi/file_upload_handler

subida.ibercivis.es seems to be down so you can't upload

by changing the above url with the following in the client_state.xml

http://bajada.ibercivis.es/subida_cgi/file_upload_handler

I could upload all of the tasks and report them..

don't know if it was the right thing to do but I got rid of all the tasks stuck in upload status...
so is this a case of the admin using the wrong url for the upload or was this a case of
intent on the part of someone, to keep everybody, but certain host from uploading?

Almost 530 completed WUs "Search for wilson primes v0.10" waiting for upload at my end.

Please consider enabling upload server soon.

On 22 Mar 2014 they will expire.

Thank you very much, NATE1.
Your bypass seems to be working for me too.
I applied suggested change in every stuck tasks, and upload succeeded.
It worked in Windows and Linux stations

Doesn't work for me, they seem to have disabled the other upload server as well.

ok I have got to ask.

before you edited the client_state.xml

The way I did it, based on NATE1 advice:
I exited BOINC Manager stopping tasks execution, then I edited client_state.xml.
BOINC Manager indicates location for this file as "Data directory:" at the very beginning in Event Log.
In windows I used Notepad's "Replace" option for doing the changes, and gedit's one in Linux.
After restarting BOINC, every previously stuck tasks uploaded normally.
At this moment it is still working (21:28:00 WET)

Exactly what I did, but with me the WUs are still stuck like before...

I have uploaded all my WUs now, using NATE1's bypass, and even received new WUs in return.

Same result here. Applied Nate1's trick and everything uploaded fine. Had to repeat the change for every WU in the XML file
